Strain/Product: Calm Cannaflower(TM)
Type: Flower / Hemp
Vendor: Cannaflower (Formerly Berkshire)

Rating: 9/10

Description: Berkshire CBD has already had a great reputation for having some very high quality Hemp flower, and CBD products. When we heard that they had a new line of indoor flower, and specialty flower called Cannaflower(TM) we had to get our hands on some. Calm is just that a really calming strain. The smell was quite strong, but nice. Reminded us of orange and cinnamon. When you break the buds apart they are nice and purple on the inside. The smoke is nice too, with taste of oranges, cloves, spice, sour, and sweet cinnamon.

Taste / Effects: Sweet, orange, cinnamon and cloves. Nice for bath time, chill-time, me-time, or anytime that you need to come down off the day.

Good for: Mood, relaxing, and anxiety.

Strain/Product: CCO Blue Dream CBD Vape Cartridge
Type: Vape Cartridge Pre-filled
Vendor: Crystal Creek Organics

Rating: 10/10

Description: CrystalCreekOrganics.com was brought to us through some friends on Reddit (thanks guys!), and they told us if you want some GREAT vape oil, these are the folks. They were not wrong, this is high quality CBD vape oil with zero fillers, no MCT, PG, PEG, or VG. This is just Hemp extract and cannabis terpenes for strain specific taste/effect. Blue Dream is a famous strain, and CCO has so many to choose from, but we went with this classic. This cart truly does the original justice, very high quality, good taste, and nice cart design.

Taste / Effects: Blue Dream had a nice sweet citrus taste with a nice herbal finish. Great for day and night, we found this to be a good all day vape.

Good for: Mood, depression, pain, arthritis, joint pain, nerve pain, anxiety, IBS, nausea, stomach pain, inflammation, and more.

Strain/Product: Bubba K-XL
Type: Flower / Hemp
Vendor: The Bud Vault

Rating: 10/10

Description: Bud Vault is an Arizona based hemp flower company that seems to specialize in a few strains. Bubba K-XL is a phenotype of Bubba Kush, or Bubba K. This unique offering is a bit like it's sibling, but is a little brighter and sweeter than most of the BK nugs we've seen. Seeing as Bubba Kush is one of the most sold hemp strains it was a nice change to see it done a little differently. This batch was a nice one for sure, good solid buds, sticky, sweet and nice trichomes as well. Good anytime smoke, good for pain relief and calming effect.

Taste / Effects: Sweet and earthy. Good soothing body, nice for aches and pains.

Good for: Aches, pains, headaches, muscles and calming. Not a sleepy strain, but great for soothing.

Strain/Product: Lifter
Type: Flower / Hemp
Vendor: Cheef Botanicals

Rating: 8/10

Description: Cheef Botanicals has been in the CBD business a long time, and probably one of the oldest Hemp flower companies too, which means they are dealing with a lot of good genetics. Lifter is a fairly common hemp flower strain in the cannabis world. Lifter from Cheef looks exactly like the pics on the site, so they are deliverying a high quality product, not a photo-shopped picture. The nugs are tight, dense, and very sticky. The smell was very nice and as soon as you open the jar it hits you. It's not really earthy as much as it is piney. It's good smoke or vape either way. We still love the jar and child-proof top, this is a great design we wish some other brands would embrace.

Taste / Effects: This Lifter batch is a nice fruity and piney flavored strain. Nice body and head strain, good for all day and everyday.

Good for: Pain, focus, appetite, high CBD content and other minor/major Cannabinoids. Overall good strain for full-spectrum flower.

Strain/Product: Key Lime Pie
Type: Flower / Hemp
Vendor: The Bud Vault

Rating: 10/10

Description: Bud Vault is an Arizona based hemp flower company that seems to specialize in a few strains. Key Lime Pie is a nice unique strain we have not see anywhere else. We have seen some close cousins such as Cherry Lime-aide, and Cherry Pie, but this one takes a new flavor and it dances on your taste buds, especially with a vape. We have never had or seen a bud that quite smelled just like Key Lime Pie, this smell was great, fresh limes , cinnamon and spices with a hint of cream. The inhale is nice with a good floral vanilla note at the end of the exhale.

Taste / Effects: Lime, cinnamon and spice with a hint of vanilla/cream. Good anytime, nice wake up smoke, nice lunch time smoke to keep you going for the day too. Nice head and body, this one is a good one all day.

Good for: Pain, aches, migraines, muscle aches, headaches, arthritis, anxiety, mood, and depression.

Strain/Product: White Tiger CBG
Type: CBG Flower / Hemp
Vendor: The Bud Vault

Rating: 8/10

Description: Bud Vault is an Arizona based hemp flower company that seems to specialize in a few strains. White Tiger is a fairly new strain, and CBG strains in general are still an emerging type of strain in the CBD/Hemp world. The buds are nice, tight, and dense. Not too many stems and no seeds either in this batch. It gets a lower score due only to the taste and dryness/texture. It works well when combined with other strains with stronger terpene profiles, and this was it's redeeming quality. The CBG certainly works and you feel it immediately, the intraocular pressure is instantly gone and it can even help suppress appetite, great for diabetics looking to lose a few pounds. CBG is also being studied for cancer treatments, Alzheimer's, Chron's, Parkinson's, Muscular Sclerosis and IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome).

Taste / Effects: Herbal and earthy. Nice body effect, no head change at all with the exception of around the eyes.

Good for: Alzheimer's, Chron's, Parkinson's, Muscular Sclerosis and IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome), Cancer, Intraocular Pressure, and Diabetes Type 2.

Strain/Product:  Frosted Kush
Type: Hemp / Flower
Vendor: Secret Nature CBD

Rating: 10/10

Description: We've said a dozen times how much we love Secret Nature and the amazing CBD products they sell. Even though we praise them, we had yet to try one of the best selling strains they sell, so we decided it was time to a do a full review on one of the most sought after Hemp strains online; Frosted Kush. With a stunning CBD content of 20.9% mostly CBD+CBDa, but it's a full-spectrum flower, so it does contain most of the minors and majors, check out the labs here. From what we have read these buds are usually very stinky, with a nice gas smell. The look on user pics are usually very nice, with huge buds that are dense looking and whole. So, we ordered a nice batch and can honestly say we were not disappointed...not at all. These beauties as you can see from the pic here, are amazing. Orange with touches of green underneath, fire orange stigmas, and dusted in white trichomes that looked almost like they were dusted in powdered sugar. Immediately we figured out where the name comes from. The smell was nice too, very strong for a hemp flower and it hits you right as you open the lid. The gas smell is nice, but unlike a lot of Kush strains we have tried, the gas is not the taste as much as it is the smell overtone. Frosted Kush, tasted sweet, with undertones of berries and cream, but not super-earthy like most hemp flowers. The exhale is smooth and the bud burns great and vapes great too. The instant you take in the taste as you inhale the delicious tastes of cream, berries, frosting, followed by your exhale which carries a bit of a gas smell along with the undertoned notes of sugary frosting and sweet berries. This flower is amazing, the relaxing sensations of this one take over instantly as you exhale. Truly, was a pleasure to break apart and smoke. The manicure on this batch was the best we have seen from anyone, the buds were all in good shape, dense, and sticky. Frosted Kush is by far the best CBD Hemp Flower we have tried to date. Highly recommend grabbing some when it's back in stock. You can buy it here, if it's not in stock you can request an email when it is.

Taste / Effects: The smell is more gas than berries, with a nice sweet undertone. The taste is sweet berries, cream and smooth as silk. The usual earthy hemp aftertaste is not there either, so this is a real counisseur strain. It's also on the pricey side for Hemp flower at $250 per oz., but trust us it's worth EVERY cent.

Good for: Relaxing, sleep, anxiety, recreation, paranoia, stress, appetite enhancement, nausea, and we even noticed a nice head feeling with this strain, it's good for ocular pressure as it alleviates the discomfort sometimes associated with intraocular pressure. Not a good day time strain as this one will make you sleepy.

Strain/Product: Bubba Kush
Type: Hemp / Flower
Vendor: Kula Hawaii

Rating: 7/10

Description: Having never tried Hawaiian grown hemp flower, when we saw the sale for Bubba Kush Hemp flower on the Kula Hawaii CBD site, we had to give it a shot. It was priced at half (based on the sale price) the retail it usually goes for which is about $260 an oz., which by the way is the second most expensive oz. we have seen to date. The pics on the site made the nugs appear quite manicured and large, but what we got in our 14 gram bag was just a bit short of amazing. The smell was a little underwhelming, but still carried the Bubba Kush characteristics, chocolate, vanilla, and a hashish oil kind of smell with subtle hints of citrus. The nugs were a bit on the dry-side, but that wasn't our issue. These nugs were all very small, and the ones that did photograph well we captured for the review here. Now, I don't actually have an issue with the nug size too much as we paid half price, but had we paid $120 (full-price) it would be have felt a little less than grand. For the price though, I feel like we got the smalls end of the batch and that's fine, but Kula should probably show better photos of actual product as well as list this as "smalls" or "trim" product. The smoke however does save it...a bit from total damnation. Also, I will say this even though this strain of Bubba Kush lacks in personality and bag appeal, it does not lack in it's effect on the body, nor does it make it a bad smoke. On the contrary, Bubba Kush from Kula Hawaii is a nice calming smoke, with an instant head and body change after just one or two puffs. The shipping and customer service from Kula was great and the entire Hawaii theme and concept is a really nice change from buying everything from Oregon or California. However there is a caveat to this review in-that, this particular seller should list this as "smalls" item or never charge the actual listed "listed full-price" which would reflect this as a reserve-shelf product, were-as we considered this mid-shelf at best. If you are looking for cost effective, low-odor flower, $130 per oz. is not bad, it's not the best price out there, but it's good quality smoke, and is cheap enough to stock-up on if it's still on sale. So, while this is a passing 7 out of 10 review (our lowest score), it barely made it. If it wasn't for the quality of the actual effects, and the taste of the smoke, it would not be a pass for us. We will check back in a few months to see what the next batch looks like to see if we can lift our score.

Taste / Effects: Chocolate, vanilla, hashish, ctirus with light orange and lemon notes. The effect is strong and immediate, nice calming, instant head and body change. Not a sleepy strain, but very good for anxiety. This is a good wake and bake strain.

Good for: Anxiety, calming, nerves, PTSD, headaches, head-pain, back-pain, overall general sense of euphoria.

Strain/Product: Pineapple Express CRD Cartridge
Type: Vape Cartridge Pre-filled
Vendor: Funky Farms

Rating: 9/10

Description: FunkyFarms is a Florida based CBD company, they have been around for a quite a while, and have made a few offerings over the years including gel-tabs, tinctures, vape e-juice, pre-filled cartridges, and edibles. We have never been a big fan of MCT in vape oil, so we avoided the carts they made, but once we got wind that they had developed a new CRD or Crystal Resistant Distillate, we knew this must be different. The CRD carts from FF are very different indeed, uncut, with the only exception being added hemp extracted terpenes for strain specific tastes. Pineapple express was a real treat too, we enjoyed the sweet aftertaste along with the real herby taste that came on inhale. You feel the head and body change instantly too, since this is a vape it takes hold quick. Don't worry though, this won't lock you to the couch or anything, but we do recommend getting ready to get things done. We found that PE was great for focus and task handling. Good all day strain/taste and excellent effects. We certainly will be trying any new strains they release, these new CRD carts are quite nice and since they contain no fillers, they are now perfect for us.

Taste / Effects: Sweet herby, pineapple, and tropical fruits. Nice body and head change, while allowing you to keep laser focus.

Good for: Work, work-outs, anxiety, stress, add, addhd, hyper-activity, focus issues, and other personality and stress related disorders. This is a good one for social activity too, it can certainly make you talk.

Strain/Product: Blue Dream CRD Cartridge
Type: Vape Cartridge Pre-filled
Vendor: Funky Farms

Rating: 10/10

Description: FunkyFarms is a Florida based CBD company, they have been around for a quite a while, and have made a few offerings over the years including gel-tabs, tinctures, vape e-juice, pre-filled cartridges, and edibles. The CRD carts from FF are very different indeed, uncut, with the only exception being added hemp extracted terpenes for strain specific tastes. Blue Dream was a real treat too, we enjoyed the berry aftertaste along with the real herbal/floral taste that came on exhale. Blue Dream is a real Florida favorite strain, so this had to be right otherwise it was going to be real bad. We were very happy with the vape. It was smooth hitting, worked quickly, and the taste is amazing. We will order a few more, but we are waiting for new flavors. All-in-all Blue Dream tastes like it should, berry notes, herbal notes, and floral notes. It has a bit of a skunky smell to it, but it does not linger.

Taste / Effects: Berries, Herbs, and Flowers. Nice calm head, relaxing sensations, and a nice eye/head feeling around the eyes. This could suggest some decrease in intraocular pressure.

Good for: Good for night time, sleep, relaxing, calm, mood, and just as a general strain for night time use when needing a good turn-down routine.

Notice to law enforcement authorities: Some of the products and materials reviewed on this website might look like marijuana, but it is actually legal industrial hemp flower. Recent historic legislation establishes the legality of industrial hemp produced in state pilot agricultural programs. Congress provides the requisite definition for allowable amounts of THC. industrial hemp’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis”. An important legal distinction also appears in the first sentence of this bill, stating: “Notwithstanding the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 801 et seq.), the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (20 U.S.C. 7101 et seq.), chapter 81 of title 41, United States Code, or any other Federal law”. The term “notwithstanding” was widely used by the 114th Congress as a way to supersede previous laws that may apply, without going through the process of overturning them. This confirms that hemp cannot be considered “marijuana” under the CSA. Consolidated Appropriations Act, Sec. 763 (2016) This legislation was the omnibus federal budget for FY2016. According to 7 U.S.C. §5940, the term “industrial hemp” means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-9 THC) concentration of not more than 0.3% on a dry weight basis. Only the Delta-9 THC level is relevant, not THC-A., this hemp flower has a Delta-9 THC level well below 0.3% on a dry weight basis, therefore, this flower is hemp, not marijuana, and is perfectly legal to possess and sell.
